The class is aimed at aquainting R.W. Emerson’s work using two modern approaches: CLIL and blended learning.
CLIL is used to teach both English and a specific subject, in this case literature, with the poem Mountain fable by R.W. Emerson.
Blended learning is practically translated in this class into the use of computers and internet on the one hand and the use of the four ELT skills on the other. The use of computers in ELT is also a means of practising learner centred teaching.
